Beth Peters-Petrow has been a Guidance Counselor at LVPA since September of 2004. Beth graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cedar Crest College in 2001 with her BA in Psychology and Social Work – and continued her education at Lehigh University receiving her M.Ed. in Secondary School Counseling.
Beth is an avid participant in the arts as a dancer, actress, singer, director and choreographer. Her training in the arts has led to time spent at The University of the Arts, Cedar Crest College , PA Youth Theatre, PA Playhouse, Koresh School of Dance, and the PA Governor’s School for the Arts.
Outside of the arts, Beth is active in the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She is also trained in Sexual Abuse/Rape Crisis Counseling and has spent time as a Counselor and Community Educator with the Crime Victims Council of the Lehigh Valley.
She has also spent time working with Pinebrook Family Services and the Children’s Home of Easton as the Summer Intervention Program Supervisor for at-risk children ages 10-15. Working at LVPA has given her the ability to combine her love for the performing arts with her passion for counseling and working with teenagers.
