Diane Wagner Dobrowolski received her B.A. in English from DeSales University and her M.F.A in Acting from Louisiana State University. She has worked professionally as an actress for many years. As a member of the Actor’s Equity Association, Diane performed in numerous productions across the country.
Some of her favorite roles include Clov in Endgame (Red Noses), Portia in The Merchant of Venice (Swine Palace Productions), the Angel in Angels in America (Swine Palace Productions), and Katherina in The Taming of the Shrew (Tulane Shakespeare Festival & Sun Valley Shakespeare Festival). Diane had the privilege to perform at the Kennedy Center, playing Martha in LSU’s award-winning production of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, as part of the 1998 American College Theatre Festival. Over the years, she has performed in a number of commercials and voice-overs.
She is a member of Circle of Stones Ritual Theatre Ensemble, having performed in the world premiere of The New Earth and collaborated with the ensemble to create Gilgamesh. Diane has most recently performed with Particle Theatre Company as Woman in The Play About the Baby and Maureen in The Beauty Queen of Leenane. She has taught acting classes at Louisiana State University, DeSales University, Northampton Community College, The William Reynolds Agency in Atlanta and Image Model and Talent Agency in Allentown. Diane has been the Director of Theatre at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts since its opening in 2003.
