Miss Ditmer earned a B.S. in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College in 2002, with a piano concentration.

She participated in the Concert Choir, performed solo piano repertoire, accompanied a number of vocal and instrumental students, and completed training in piano pedagogy and literature. She was also member of the Delaware All-State Junior Chorus committee from 2005-2008.

From 2004-2008, Miss Ditmer was a member of the University of Delaware’s semi-professional choir, Schola Cantorum. The group of 150+ student and community singers performed concerts on and off campus, with the university’s orchestra, and with the Delaware Symphony Orchestra in Wilmington.
