As a school counselor at LVPA, Marissa Samit has found her home away from home. Mrs. Samit holds a certification in School Counseling in the state of Pennsylvania, a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Psychological Services from the University of Pennyslvania’s Graduate School of Education.
Since her youth, the performing arts and those who pursue it have been family to her. Mrs. Samit moved to Pennsylvania from the Chicagoland area in 2006 to rejoin the East Coast and pursue her graduate studies. She lives happily here in PA with her husband and near to his family.
In her spare time, Mrs. Samit is an amateur painter, photographer, pastel artist, and gardener. She continues to be an avid theatre goer and world traveler. She is so grateful to be a part of such a thriving and caring arts community and wishes all the best in success to everyone who is a part of LVPA: students, their families, and faculty members alike; as we plan for another great year.
