Pat Blaszkowski (Madame B.) has been teaching French at LVPA since the 2004-2005 school year. She is a 1978 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, cum laude, with BS degrees in Secondary Education of French and German, and a MS ED degree, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction, from Capella University in 2009.

Pat is fluent in American Sign Language and is also a musician, playing clarinet, saxophone, and flute. She was drawn to LVPA by her family’s love of music and her daughter’s love of dance. At LVPA, Pat serves as the Humanities Coordinator, senior graduation project faculty advisor, trip organizer and chaperone for French trips to Quebec City, Quebec, Canada; and co-chair of the LVPA Middle States implementation team. She is honored to be a part of the school’s dedicated faculty.

Pat has been married to Dennis Blaszkowski since June 3, 1978, and has 2 grown and married children and 3 grandchildren.
