Rafe Scheinblum received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatrical Design and Production from Windham College in Putney, Vermont. After graduation, Rafe taught Theatre Production at Windham for two years.
The call of professional Theatre was too strong to resist so a move to the world of Off-Off-Broadway lured Rafe to New York City. The next move was further Off-Broadway to the McCarter Theatre Company of Princeton, NJ where he became Production Manager. Several years and several mildly successful entrepreneurial ventures including Blue Sky Productions, a scenic studio, and Double Click Computer Store (still in business under different ownership) marked the transition from Theatre to Technology.
Eight years as an executive of a regional Internet company, and four years in retail management at Apple, Inc. left Mr. Scheinblum with a desire to return to his roots. The opportunity to join LVPA and ply his technology experience within a citadel of the performing arts was too much to pass up. Rafe is extremely happy to have brought his career full circle. Rafe has a lovely wife and two grown sons, both living in California.
