Sharon Fehlinger was selected as the Principal of LVPA for the start of the 2011-2012 school year. Ms. Fehlinger earned a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University where she also received her Principal Certification.

Ms. Fehlinger also attended Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education: The Principals’ Center. She holds a Bachelors degree from West Chester University, where she received her teaching certification in Music Education. While pursuing her degree at West Chester she simultaneously attended Immaculata College and earned a certification in Music Therapy.

Ms. Fehlinger served as a music educator and band director for over a decade. She also served as a Director of Creative Arts Therapy in the suburban Philadelphia area. Most recently, she served as Head of School/Principal at a small private school in the Lehigh Valley area. Additionally, Ms. Fehlinger serves as an adjunct professor/lecturer for a small graduate school of education in the region, where she teaches educators who are earning their Masters degree and teachers who are learning to become principals.

Ms. Fehlinger is a strong supporter of the arts and arts education. She values academic achievement as well as artistic success. She is strongly committed to providing an outstanding educational experience for all students at LVPA.
