After over 20 years of experience in Human Resources with various retail organizations Mr. Shuman has returned to his passion of teaching. At various times in his career he has taught creative writing, literature, mass media, SAT prep and theatre in locations as varied as a church, traditional classroom and in a jail.
Mr. Shuman teaches Technical Theatre and American History with a passion for learning and the arts, which he demonstrates each day in the classroom. He has been active in community theatre and has written a musical that had a regional production. His is deeply grateful for the honor of teaching at LVPA.
